AM: 10 miles slow.

PM: 2.5 slow, followed by 23 minutes at 5:00/mile on the treadmill with 1.0-1.5 incline. (4.6 miles).

I have been feeling super slow lately, so I happened to be at the gym for a workout class and did not want to do the incline workout they had planned on the treadmill since the treadmill when I put it on incline has been giving me some serious nagging injuries.  I decided after the warmup to just go for it: 23-minute challenge maxed out.  I definitely had my heart rate increasing throughout, but I felt I could have gone longer (perhaps 30 minnutes?) if we didn't switch to the weight room block.

I can say, I haven't accomplished much at all this summer running-wise, but I am happy to "perfect score" the Orange Theory 23-minute challenge which has always been in the back of my mind to accomplish, but for some reason or another I've always been fat or unfit when the competition rolls around each year, and never really had the tanacity to put it on myself to accomplish.

Followed this by a rain run- when living in FL, there is nothing better than a run in the rain.  Even if there is lightning, the threat of imminent death is worth the risk for a break in humidity, sun, and temperature!
