PM: Run in the rain, still incredibly slow pace.  Knee soreness, but sometimes, you've just got to run.

Other news: my old bike will be here Thursday.  I'm back at weight lifting.  Swimming still needs to get a move on, but I think I'll be fine once I establish a routine.  The running part I'm not so sure of, but I'll keep trying to take it easy and just hope that's enough with the strength training.

Had a planning day, so was able to break my run up a bit into two runs. I'm still sore around the knee, but I'm a couple of percentage points more confident that it is healing.

Noon: 3 miles back to school.

PM: 3 miles home, then gym for arms and back.

The gym was awesome today. I lifted some good weight and worked hard. On days like this, sometimes I wonder if I could actually handle a desk job- it really let me get psyched up and plan out exactly what I wanted to do later at the gym. I like the idea of not having homework in a job as well, but then again, I remember how hard it was to search for a job and get hired when I moved down here.

I'm envious of those doing long runs in this weather. I wanted to run thirty miles today. I even want to go run as I'm writing this. I know days and feelings like this don't come by often during the year, so it's unfortunate that I can't savor it.

PM: 3 miles then swam outside for half a mile.  So cold in the water, but that in effect, makes it more entertaining as my brain quickly gets deprived of oxygen and my body temp lowers... so I feel quite out of it... in a good way...

PM: Solo run in SH, then swimming- half mile focusing on form.  Had someone look at my swimming form- not surprisingly, I have a long way to go with it...

The run was pretty bad news.  Knee was hurting everywhere, and disappointingly in the spot of the injury.

Bike arrives Thursday, so hopefully I can take advantage of that and have no pain while riding.

PM: run with Cory. I could barely keep up with a pathetic pace. Knee hurt. Then did practice. Followed it up with the gym- chest, tris, and shoulders.

I am over this. Dieting healthily has helped my overall outlook, but it's a real struggle.
